FOREWORD
We are at such a crucial time when African Christian Theology is shifting ground to Prosperity Theology. A time when the attention of multitude of Christians are wrongly attracted to materialism and worldliness by church Leaders, instead of seeing the obvious signs and dangers of end time, the great persecutions befalling Christians globally and future that lies ahead of a Nation that the larger percentage of her Youth is engrossed in criminality.
In view of the helplessness of the Rulers of the Land and futility of the best of their effort; the only saving grace for this generation and the generation unborn is in no other place or source than in the church and in the sound heavenly message in the mouth and life of church leaders.
In view of this, I commend the Leaders of Faith Institute of Evangelism and Leadership Development (FIELD) for their gallant exploits in pursuing genuine Kingdom's business and for choosing the Theme: THE TEN VIRGINS (MAT. 25:1-3). NO other topic could be more appropriate than this, at this time; I believe that the Lessons therein as well as the Leadership implications to be drawn out, shall go a long way in showing us our errors as Church Leaders and redirect our focus to the mind of Jesus Christ the owner of the Church, as contained in John 4:35 "Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields for they are white already to harvest".
Thanking the organizers of this conference for inviting me to address this great audience. Wishing you a happy and fruitful deliberations in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Amen).
